Will it sting or irritate?
Luminara uses ethyl ascorbic acid, a gentler and more stable form of vitamin C, and is built for skin that usually finds vitamin C too much. Everyone's skin is different, so if yours reacts easily, patch test on the inner arm for 24 hours first.
Will it turn orange like other vitamin C serums?
Most vitamin C serums darken as they oxidise. Luminara uses ethyl ascorbic acid, one of the more stable forms, in amber glass that shields it from light. Keep it capped and away from heat to keep it at its best.
Can I use it with retinol?
Yes, just not at the same moment. Use Luminara in the morning and Rejuvénce at night, with Mucina over both. See the day and night ritual.
Can I use it with niacinamide?
Yes. Niacinamide is already one of Luminara's five brightening pathways, and the two are formulated to work together.
How long until I notice a difference?
Give it six to eight weeks of daily use before judging tone. That is why the bottle is 50ml, not the usual 30ml: enough to get there before you run out. Everyone's skin is different.
Is there neem in Luminara?
Yes. Neem extract sits in the botanical base alongside aloe, green tea, licorice and turmeric.
